Corrindon Dancer is by the legendary Crosstown Dancer C1 ID Gold Merit Stallion, a prolific sire with progeny competing across a variety of disciplines. His progeny consistently dominate the HOYS Show Hunter Classes.
His Dam, Moylough Holly was a C1 ID Bronze Merit Mare who was also Reserve Champion Broodmare at the RDS in 2011, with Dancer as a foal at foot. Dancer has inherited his parents’ gentle nature. He was broken to saddle by Clare Arden in November 2014. He enjoys his work, hacking out boldly going first or last.
Dancer jointed Emily Farleigh in September 2015 to start his ridden career – Show Jumping and Dressage. Emily is delighted with him. She says “he has a temperament to die for”
Corrindon Dancer was bred by Patrick Hoare, Moylough Stud, Co Galway and is jointly owned by Doreen Hoare and Margaret Brooks
We are delighted to announce that Dancer achieved BRONZE MERIT for Dressage during November 2015 and a Premium at the SHB (GB) Grading at Akham Bryan March 2016. He is now working towards his BRONZE MERIT for Show Jumping.
At the IDHS(GB) Stallion Inspections March 2015 the over all comment was “Corrindon Dancer is a well proportioned Irish Draught horse that stands over plenty of ground. He has three good, powerful and active paces. He showed good technique and scope when jumping.
The inspectors at the SHB(GB) in the spring 2016 were equally impressed with his jumping and athleticism awarding him a PREMIUM.
Dancer has a lovely kind and gentle nature and this is commented on where ever he goes. We are delighted with his first crop of foals. Dancer has stamped his stock with his temperament and natural presence. To date he has achieved 100% fertility.
